Cannot accept a new connection because the session has been terminated.

  • Hello Experts

Please suggest what could be the cause of the error? I can see many entries in the SQL Server Error Log.

Is this due to less memory or could be due to heavy transaction...

    Not sure, please suggest..

    2010-03-25 03:48:55.77 Logon Error: 17191, Severity: 16, State: 2.

2010-03-25 03:48:55.77 Logon Cannot accept a new connection because the session has been terminated. This error occurs when a new batch execution is attempted on a session that is logging out, or when a severe error is encountered upon connection. Check the error log to see if this session was terminated by a KILL command or because of severe errors. [CLIENT: XXX.X.XXX.XX]
