  Hi all,

  Is there a way I can check if backward compatibility package is installed on sql server 2005? Currently upgrading a software and it states this has to be installed. Any assistance much appreciated.

  Click Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features.

  Verify that Microsoft SQL Server Backward Compatibility appears in the list of installed programs.
