I am trying to transfer only one column to Excel sheet from table.
Could anyone kindly help me with an example if possible.

Try using the import / export wizard.

Need to perform some data type conversion .

That article refers to an import to SQL Server, not an export to Excel.
Can you try explaining what's going on?

Hi
Depending on what type of export you need to do, there are few things.. If its a simple export then use the wizard else please post your question in detail..
but again depending on what is being done you need to use the data conversion tool...
