sa account cannot shut down database from remote

  All:

  I have SQL Server 2005 SP3 / Windows 2003. When I connect SQL Server from my local computer by sa, it cannot shut down the database. "Stop" in "Right click instance name" is greyed out.

  If I login physical server and connect SQL Server by sa, it can do that.

  Any advise?
