Connection error ssis and sybase

    Hi Everyone,

    I need to push data into sybase database.

    I've dragged the OLE DB source and selected "Native OLE DB\sybase ASE OLE DB Provider"

    I have added the server name, user name and password. If i click Initial catalog. I am not getting my databases.

    Instead am getting an error like, Test connection failed because of an error in initializing provider.

    How can i resolve this.

    Did you specify your server port? If there is no separate entry for this try specifying in the server name like this:

    <server>:<port>

    thanks.now i am able to connect to sybase.

    when i want to load data into sybase which components are required in the transformation.

    Please tell me what source i need to drag into the page.

    i am using odbc river to connect to the sybase.

    if i select oledb source it is not at all showing the sybase connection name.

    and if i select data reader source it is giving an error like

    "Error at Data Flow Task 1 [DataReader Source [119]]: An output cannot be added to the outputs collection."
