I have a flat file source container that goes to a derived column, that goes to a data conversion to a ole db destination...pretty basic ssis package
It was working, now they have added some fields to my txt file (flat file source)..some of these fields are date fields..it seem that only my new date fields are causing the problem..
When I go into advaced editor for flatfile source container - input output (output columns) and change my datatypes to date 'DT_DATE' (which is what I have for every other date column) I get a 'red x' on my derived column container...!?!
I checked my source txt file and it has dates in the exact same format as all my other date columns..(DT_DATE) the only way I don't get a red x on my derived container is to change it to (DT_WSTR)..but this is only for the new date columns..??
it doesn't run
