Restoring log shipping primary database

    If we restore the primary database in log shipping, it would affect the log shipping right?

    It would start to fail correct.

    Please let me know the precautions we need to take to avoid this.

    yes it would fail as the lsns would be out of synch.

    there is nothing you can do to avoid this if you have to restore your primary database
