Taking "Active" transaction log backup. Is it possible if the database is not accessible?

  • Hello Experts

Can you please suggest how should be done in the below scenario:

As we know that at any point of time data will be available in the active T-Log, if the recovery mode is "Full". However, at a certain point of time the database crashed and I am unable to "use <database>", in that case how to recover the data from the active transaction log buffer?

    Please suggest ...

    Thanks.

  • What is the status of the database?

    In Recovery, Offline, Online?
