When the 'package source' of my job step is 'ssis package store', I can find my ssis package in \stored packages\msdb. How about when 'package source' is 'sql server'? Where do i find the SSIS package?

See the attachment... you should see it in the same path... Did you build and deploy the package to the msdb?? If you connect to SSIS using SSMS are you able to see the packages under MSDB ... IF you are then you should be see the package in the job step also in the same path

thanks you divyanth. I am wondering if there is a difference between package source 'sql server' and 'ssis package store' in the job step window. I see packages uploaded by a previous developer and want to make sure I am looking at the right package because some have 'sql server' package source specified and others have 'ssis package store'
