Hi Friends,
Can anybody help me in the case of Optimization of SSRS.I will explain you my requirement;
I am working in a project that already developed in ASP.NET and Reporting functionality they implemented on SSRS. Now they are facing an issue like the report is slow when it takes first time, But when they take the report after that it is fast, even though the parameters are different in new report still the report is fast. So my client request me to make the report fast even it take on first time .
I did some research on the above scenario. I found that we can only optimize the performance of the SQL that we are using inside the report. We cannot optimize the report rather than that.
Can you help me to solve above issue? Is there any way to precompiled the SSRS reports?
Thnaks in advance
Satheesh

Hi,
From my experience there is no help :crying:
SSRS works under IIS and this issue should be solved with "keeping alive" IIS.
Other solution is making *.rdlc reports (if they are part of some other application).
