Page SPlit Errors

    I am trying to understand how critical are page split errors on production datbases. All our productions are just read, there wont be any inserts or updates, its completely used to read the data but still i get page splt errors, is this something critical, if so how do i eliminate them, how can i be proactive regarding this kind of issues.

    Page split erros? Do you really mean "Torn Page" errors?
