Issues removing failover node (SQL2)

  • [ http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms190438(SQL.90).aspx ]

After I select NEXT on the System Configuration Check Screen, I receive the following information:

TITLE Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Setup

    ------------------------------

SQL Server Setup has determined that the following property was not specified: 'GROUP'. The property specifies the cluster group that contains the SQL Server resources and the disk to which the shared data files are to be written. To proceed, refer to the template.ini and set the property to a valid cluster group name.

I have also been to:http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=104560. The forum said I needed to use [c:\>cluster node nodename /forcecleanup] which didn't work or your cluster is totally hosed.

My question is: how can I unistall (SQL2)?

    Thanks for your help,

    RKinney
