Specialize in SQL Server(DBA, BI Developer)

  • Hey everbody.

I'm from Austria and have about 2 years experience in SQL Server 2000 and 2005 but not specialized(because of my day-to-day business and my diversified job). Now I want to specialize in SQL Server als DBA and/or BI Develover because I'm very interested in it. In January this year I take the 70-431 exam and this year i want to take the 70-443 and 70-444 exam and so on....

To deepen these topics I want to work as a freelancer or something like that because I want to use off time efficiently(especially on fridays). Does anyone now something like that or can anyone give me information for trainings etc. to meet my goal as a MCITP in DBA and BI Development?

I hope you can give me some information.

I wish you a nice evening.

    Yours Frank

  • First, buy a copy of the Developer's Edition for your computer at home and go through the books step-by-step. Then start answering questions on forums like this one. You'll learn more than you can imagine.

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.
