some strange situation in clustering

  Hi All,

  I am facing some strange situation:-

  I have one prod. Instance. While I am seeing this instance through Cluster Administrator, the instance is offline (red cross marked). But I m able to connect to instance using Mgmt studio. I am not able to understand what’s happening? Can anybody have any clew?

  I work only to learn Sql Server...though my company pays me for getting their stuff done;-)

  Were you able to do any activity on the sqlserver? what do you see in services?

  Is it single node cluster or multiple ? ,If it is multiple then you may be looking wrong instance...
