Error.When creating a DSN to Sql Server-2005

    Hi Friends ,

    I have one problem when i m creating a new DSN on Sql Server-2005

    i have a error that is "General network error. check your network documentation."

    What the reason my Laptop is in LAN and i want to connect Sql Server thrue DSN

    Please help me.

    Just like the error states, you have some network issue between your Laptop and your SQL Server. Are you able to ping the DB Server? Does your Laptop have a firewall that is blocking the return acknowledgment from the DB server?
