send a report via email

    Does anyone know how to schedule and automatically send a report embedded in an email from reporting services to a recipient?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Is your report server configured to send email?

    If it is you will need to create a subscription for the report. If you have publisher rights on the report, you will see the 'subscription' tab in the upper right hand/center portion of the report. You will also have to store your data set and credentials locally in order to schedule the report. Read through the link above. It seems complicated at first, but once you get through the first one, it's a breeze....
