Error KB955706 occured while installing service pack 3 in SQL server 2005

  Hi All,

  While installing SQl server service pack 3 in 2005, i got the following error,

  "A recently applied update, KB955706 failed to install".

  I have tried couple of times installing and ended with the same error.Also, i checked the related forums with the same error, but i could not find any new database created while installation of SP3.

  Please advice if any solution to resolve this problem.
