Hi,
I am developing a DTS package exporting data into an excel file however I dont want the file appended. I was hoping to overwrite the file (like DTS does with text destinations) but have come to understand that this can't be done with excel. Instead the new records are appended to the existing file. I want to delete previously added rows and add the new row to the file including the header.
I have the package working to where I can export the data to excel but I dont know how to delete all existing rows and replace with new rows. Any help is very much appreciated.
