Job Summary
Advanced Database Administrator or Developer, for work assigned according to skill set within a skilled, five-person development group. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Essential Responsibilities
•Develop n-tier architecture of SQL Server 2008 databases
•Server clustering
•Analyze & recommend indexing strategies
•Architect table designs and workflow
•Performance tuning
•Recommend software and hardware upgrades
•Design relevant stored procedures, triggers, jobs, etc
•Perform database maintenance, upgrades, log file analysis
•Work independently and collaboratively on a variety of development projects
•A demonstrated passion for learning new technologies and offering creative solutions
•Produce within fast-paced development environment
Job Requirements
•4+ Years database administrator / developer
•Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
•Experience with multiple server environment
•Server clustering experience
•2+ Years SQL Server 2005 / 2008
•Flexible and resilient in an ever changing environment
•Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States
•Must work from corporate office in Appleton, WI
Additional Experience in any of the follow is a bonus:
•DBA/DBD Certifications
•Data Storage & Indexing
•Data Warehousing
•XML
•.NET development
•Ajax / JQuery / JavaScript
•Web Services
•Security / Compliance
Location
The DBA / DBD will work out of our corporate office in the Appleton, Wisconsin.
Compensation
Compensation will be $50,000 - $65,000 based on expertise and experience.

Heh... so despite the laundry list of required expertise and "nice to haves", you really want an entry level programmer. 😉

No, no Jeff they want a full fledged DBA who can program and then want to pay that individual at the pay level of an entry level programmer
