Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help me with this question.
How many different abbreviations of software implementations or software applications are there?
I have heard of ERP, CRM. I came across another ACL?.. i have been trying to find a thread to read some more on these and the difference between them. If anyone could help please..
Thanks

There are gazillions. For example, I just started reading a book on SQL CLR (there's two right there, Structured Query Language and Common Language Runtime). On page 4 of the book it introduced CTS, CLS, CIL, VES and JIT. These are generally specific to CLR programming and other people not doing CLR won't be interested. Instead of sweating general concepts such as the umpty-gazillion acronyms, focus on what you need to do and worry about the acronyms within that sphere.
