Hi All, If there is one default instance and three named instance of SQL server 2005 or 2008 enterprise editions.
If i need to make use of Integration,Analysis,Reporting and notification services for all instances , do i need to install for each and every instance independently or commonly can it be used ?
For example one default and three named instance , hence 4 times it needs to installed , Valid document or KB article will be useful.
Wat about SQL server 2000 ( ignore services that does not exist in 2000) .
Thanks in advance

Integration Services & Reporting Services are instance independent. Meaning, they only have to be installed once. I know this for a fact because we use them that way in our environment. I'm not quite as certain about SSAS or Notification Services, though, as we don't use them.

Not quite sure what you mean by SQL Server 2000 as neither SSIS nor Notification Services exist there. Reporting Services, AFAIK, is instance independent. Again, not sure about SSAS.
