Change varchar to dd/mm/yy

    Hi,

    i'm getting a DT_DWSTR in Excel. i have change that to dd//mm//yy format.

    if i use DT_DBDATE then it changes it to mm/dd/yy format.

    in sql server i can change like

    SET DATEFORMAT DMY

    like this is there a facility to change the dateformat in SSIS.

    early help is highly appreciated.

    Yes, there is...

    You use a FUNCTION in your BIS. You bring the variable in, run it through a "function", do the appropriate pulldowns, and you can convert that date into anything you want.
