DTS Log File

    Hello I am new to SQL server and have created DTS package using SQL Server 2008. And I want to find out where I can find out LOG file of that DTS package.

    Help would be appreciated very greatly

    Please clarify whether this is a DTS package or an SSIS package. In either case, logging must be enabled in the package before any logging takes place and you can specify where you want the package to log.

    Its an SSIS package. Logging is enabled. I figure out how to create Log file but nothing comes in that log file.

    Can anyone tell me what am I doing wrong? Why logs are not coming in Log file (its all blank)

    Can you describe how you enabled logging and specified the events? Did you follow the steps described here?: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms141212(SQL.90).aspx
