Configuring TCPIP LoopBack Adapter Port Number

  When I change the default port number for TCPIP connections to my DEFAULT instance, do I also need to change the loopback adapter to the same port number?

  Should be in the Configuration Manager (in the SQL program group)

  Hi!

  yes, I do see it in there, but do I need to change it as well as the IP1? I could not locate information about what to change/when....
