Restore of Cube Database in Analysis Services

    I'm trying to restore a cube database that is ~30 GB in size. I have ~300 GB free on the drive that I would like to store the database. However, I get the following error: there is not enough space on disk (Microsoft.AnalysisServices)

    Can anyone explain why I'm getting this error?

    I suspect that Analysis Services is using a different drive for temp files. Have a look at the configuration of Analysis Services (Properties of the server from within Management Studio) and it should become obvious
