The Gurus,
I have been having problems configuring my report server. I have SQL Server 2005 developer edition installed on Windows Vista Business.
I got the following error message
"There was an error while refreshing the reporting Services Configuration Manager. The exception details are:
A connection to the computer cannot be established.
Details:
Access denied"
What can I do to resolve this please?

If you search the web you will find hundreds of people which had or still have trouble running RS on Vista. Basically there are two type of issues you may encounter. One is the configurations of IIS and two are permission issues.
you're problem sounds like a permission issue. One thing I would try in such a case is running the configuration tool as Admin. Even though you're account might be member of the administrator group it still makes a diference if you start a tool "normal" or as "admin.
