  Hi

  When my client is trying to view the licensing information of SQL Server 2000 in control panel, a pop-up box is coming up with the "unable to locate sqlsui.dll" message.

  I tried the solution by copying the SQLSUI.DLL file from another server to this server and restarted the server, but it didnt work.

  Any help??

  Hi,

  I must say did we re-register this DLL after copying it or did we tried rebooting the server. If not please do the same and check how it works.

  You can use regsvr32 /s SQLSUI.dll command to register a dll file.
