Best Practices for SSIS Packages?

  Well, I am slowly learning SSIS in my spare time. However, the PM wants me to give a presentation on Best PRactices for the SSIS Packages that we are converting from DTS, vbscript, etc. I have found so stuff through Google, but most of it seems performance related.

  What I am looking for are more best practies around:

  * Administration

  * Parameterization

  * Logging

  * Alerting/Email

  * Adapting for multi-server/database use

  * Deployment

  * Exception-handling

  etc...

  Any thoughts?
