Hi,
Need help on this error. I am trying to install Sql server express on Vista Business and i get this error.
TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Setup

SQL Server Setup has determined that the following account properties are not specified: 'AGTACCOUNT' . The properties specify the startup account for the services that are installed. To proceed, refer to the template.ini and set the properties to valid account names. If you are specifying a windows user account, you must also specify the password for the account.

what error is setup log is showing ? You can find the error at location: %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\LOG\Summary.txt

Hi, thanks for the response. This is the error that show in the summary log.

SQL Server is trying to start the services by using 'AGTACCOUNT' Account and It looks like windows service account is not properly created.
