  I am very new to Database migration in MS SQL SERVER 2000- 2005

  any body have some url in Database MIGRATION in same could plz send me the url

  Hi,

  If the structure in 2005 is same then use backup and restore.Then change the compatability level to 90.Run dbcc checkdb on database.Before that script out all the logins from 2000 with respect to the migrating database and run it on 2005.
