we have noticed the follwoing log in our sharepoint SQL log only during last evening, I notice this is usually regarding login warnings (correc me if i am wrong), however we haven't had anyone from outside on the server, does this mean anything?
thank you for any input

Please don't post the error in the title. We can't see the whole thing.
SSPI handshakes are AD errors between your server and the domain controllers.

Thank you so much, meanwhile I will try to curb and put keywords for error in subject line

This is frequently due to SPN problems related to not having the required permissions in AD.

I've already ensured that the server is set to mixed authentication mode. It is intermitten. Some days it errors on login, other days it doesn't and there are no configuration changes between them. Also, both client and server are in the same domain and same site so there is no VPN or anything in between. I'm really quite stumped. Any help would be great, or if you can point me in the right direction of where to look. Thank you in advance!

Hello,
Have your found the solution to your situation?
We are having the same type of errors and it is only after we put a newer domain controller than the 2003 one in place.
It works if there is only the 2003 server but adding a 2008 or 2012 server it will work for a while then it will sporadic act up. Seems time related or etc.
Thanks
