copy DTS to SQL server 2005

    hello,

    we are going to copy DTS packages to Sqlserver 2005...we wont covert to SSIS due to some internal issues...assuming all the DTS packages are there..should i go to each package and change the source server..or is there any other way where i can just change the DTS package while copying..please please suggest me..thanks in advance..

    If the server name is hard coded in the package connection, there isn't a way to change it as you're copying it. You'll have to open each package and change the connection before or after copying the packages to SQL 2005.

    Hello...thanks for answering..yeah i figured that out that we need to open each package and change the source...thanks..
