Can anyone please make a suggestion on how to monitor and prevent UMS SQL Server error caused by long running queries?
Thank you.

Maybe this should be moved to the correct forum.
Out of curiosity, what is UMS ?

UMS is a User Mode Scheduler which handles processor scheduling. Each processor that Sql Server uses gets a UMS. When connections are made to sql server the SPID is allocated to the UMS, from here the query executions are handled and spread as evenly as possible among the UMSs.
If you know about the DAC, it is always attached to a dedicated UMS.
