Hi,
I am new to using Reporting Services and am having problems connecting from the SSMS.
When I try to connect using windows authentication I get the following message:
The request failed with HTTP status 407: Proxy Authentication Required ( The ISA Server requires authorization to fulfill the request. Access to the Web Proxy service is denied. ). (Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.UI.RSClient)
Has anyone else seen and fixed this?:ermm:

You can only connect to reporting services via SSMS on the server SSRS is installed on. No remote connections.

It is working the other way round for me.
I can connect remotely to SSRS from SSMS on my laptop but when I am on the server I get the message.

Sorry, my brain was thinking SSIS, and I was typing SSRS. I can't help you. GL

I'm a newbie myself, but I set up everything on my Local server 2008 as "Mixed" Authentication. I was then able to login using Windows or SQL Server authentication. I'm not sure if that addresses your authentication method.
The SRS Configuration Manager can set up required information in multiple areas for the server.

Same this side, can connect from SSMS on desktop but not on server logged on as service account.
Any results?
