Inplace upgrade from 2005 to 2008

    Hi all,

    I have 2 instances on sql 2005. Want to perform a inplace upgrade to 2008.

    My doubt is will this 2 instances upgraded automatically when I run 2008 setup and select upgrade option or is there any other way for it.

    i would imagine there is an option to upgrade one instane at a time...if thats what you want to do.

    Could i just ask - is it a complicated process to do an inplace upgrade and is there anything I need to be aware considering that we use database mirroring?
