  • Guess no one is working today or my cell phone woes didn't strike anyone as funny.

  • Umm, well, I really enjoyed meeting you at PASS 08?

    🙂

Heh... not supposed to slam "Dash" phones against the "Dash"... that's what makes them break. 😛

First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

  • I didn't have nearly as many cell phone woes as you this year. Now - if you throw in BlueTooth headsets into the mix, now THAT's a different story...:) I can count 8 from last year (2 unusable, 3 lost, 1 stepped on, and 1 refusing to charge).....

And the sad part? The cheapest one of the bunch is the best performing:)

Your lack of planning does not constitute an emergency on my part...unless you're my manager...or a director and above...or a really loud-spoken end-user..All right - what was my emergency again?

  • LOL, I survived with 1 headphone, though most of my phones didn't have bluetooth :). I did lose it for a few weeks, but found it. This was after I lost my first one in 2007, bought this one, then found my old Nokia. A couple days later I lost it again, and I know it's in the house somewhere. 🙁

The first "Dash" actually broke when I tossed it on the passenger seat in the Prius from about 3" above the seat, it bounced and hit the floor. Screen cracked. That was a lesson about them being very fragile. Can't remember how I broke #2, but #3 was in my front pocket, bad idea, and I was feeding horses, banged into a post and it broke the screen again.

My wife has a Jawbone, which is much better than other headphones, at least for the people on the other end, but at $120, I'm not sure it's worth it. My $50 headphone has worked great.

  • So! You carry the cell phone to the barn... when ya goin' for the implant, pal? ;):D:hehe:

  • Hey, that's a great time to work. You can shovel manure two ways then 😛

  • Hadn't thought of it THAT way... heh... it sounds like a pretty good place to build a straw man doc, as well. 🙂
