  • If you're asking us if these are good interview questions to ask someone you're going to hire, I'd suggest some rewording and re-ordering:

    2. How does differential backup work?

    3. What other methods of backup are there?

    4. What is meant by lock escalation?

    5. What can cause tempdb to be full and how can this be resolved?

    6. How are filegroups used in a database?

    7. What is the difference between filegroup backup and other types of backups?
