How to validate parameter in SSRS

  Hi Friends,

  i have a Parameter(Date value ) ,if i specify other than date value like(eg .. char , numeric) it should show message box and report should not generate .

  so pls help me to sort this error . very urgent

  Set the data type of your parameter to a date and you will get a date picker control (assuming you are using report manager).
