Is it possible to increase the duration of the performance montior from the Basic 1min 40> Have been searching everywhere to no avail.

Perfmon registry entry can be found at , i am not sure if the open timeout setting will work for you or not ...

Yes you can change the interval from 1 second in Performance Monitor.

right-click on the graphics pane and select "Properties", click on the General tab and change the interval. The time span is always 100 * the interval.
