Hi All,
we are going to upgrade our SQL Server 2000 to SQL Server 2005.
SQL Server 2000 is a 64-Bit, if we install SQL Server 2005 32-bit version will upgradation go smoothly ?
We have already done this one on one of the Staging servers but dont know whether it is 32-bit or 64-Bit version. But we have upgraded with 32-Bit SQL SERVER 2005 and it ran smoothly.
Please help me in this ASAP.
Thanks in Advance.
Thank You.

There is no 64bit edition of SQL 2000 (unless you are running on Itanium, in which case you would be also using the Itanium version of SQL 2005).
Are you perhaps running SQL 2000 on a 64bit version of the operating system?
As Paresh suggested, run the upgrade adviser, I would also check your versioning.
