SQl Server 2005 and 2008 on the same Cluster?

  Can I build a 2 node Cluster with one node SQL Server 2005 and the 2nd node with SQL Server 2008?

  Does anybody tried that?

  I think you can, but you need to cluster both version.

  So you need to install and cluster sql 2005 and after that install as separate instance and cluster also sql 2008.

  Then make one run as active on node A and the other as active on node B.

  Never tried...
