If I were to edit an existing legacy DTS package either in SQL 2000 or 2005 the older versions would be saved to the server in MSDB. If for some reason I need to revert back to an older version of the package I have the luxury of opening the older version of the package and re-saving as current. I am unsure how to accomplish this with SSIS packages stored in the MSDB as if I were to import a package with the same name of an existing package in the MSDB it overwrites it. Is there the ability to accomplish this archived versioning in SSIS like with legacy DTS?
