I'm sorry - perhaps it's too early on a Monday. What's the actual question?

Your lack of planning does not constitute an emergency on my part...unless you're my manager...or a director and above...or a really loud-spoken end-user..All right - what was my emergency again?

I just wanted to know if the character '/' was allowed in the varchar datatype. I had an import blow up this morning and the constraint that it was blowing up on didn't make sense. I thought that perhaps there were certain special characters that weren't allowed. thank you guys for the speedy response.
