  The Gurus,

  I noticed this message in my error logs

  "2008-10-15 01:00:21.87 spid1s Server resumed execution after being idle 21259 seconds. Reason: timer event."

  I am more concerned about the Reason which is said to be timer events. What are timer events and how can they be controlled?
