I have created a package and depolyed it to my server (File System), I now want to create a job to execute it but I cannot see the SQL Server Integration Services Package option in the Type list.
Any ideas?

Hi David,
When you try to create the job, you make it from the server or the client?

Can you try to make the sames steps but with a remote desktop connection into the server?

How strange, on the server the option is there?!
Why would the job type be available on the server but not on the client??

The main reason is SSMS.
When you try to make a new job (File System package) from the client, SSMS find local packages to the server. If you deploy a package as File System, you can not view this package outside the server.
Instead deployig packages as filesystem, try to deploy as SQL. Then, you can use SSMS from the clien machine.
Sorry for my English. I'm from Spain

Ah, I see!
