HI ALL
I'm using HP Itanium IA64 machine. and the OS is Win Server 2003 enterprise edition
When i insert the sql 2008 media and ready to install, i got the following error :
SQL server 2008 setup require Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP2
I download the NET Framework 2.0 SP2 but after i installed, the error still the same.
Am i downloading the wrong .NET Framework or what is seems to be the problems??
I think i'm downloading the correct .NET Framework...and i managed to run and repair the. NET Framework....

Try to find more detail in event viewr which will hep you to narrow down the issue. Also restart the box or uninstall and reinstall the .net framework. Do not forget to install SP2 for .net
