  If I run the query from within the network using the external IP

  address, it runs fine; if I run the query outside the network using the

  external IP

  mssql.error: DB-Lib error message 20017, severity 9:

  Unexpected EOF from the server

  Net-Lib error during Operation now in progress

  Error 115 - Operation now in progressDB-Lib error message 20002, severity 9:

  Adaptive Server connection failed

  I'm trying to connect to a sql server remotely and getting this:

  DB-Lib error message 20017, severity 9:

  Unexpected EOF from the server

  Net-Lib error during Operation now in progress

  Error 36 - Operation now in progressDB-Lib error message 20002, severity 9:

  Adaptive Server connection failed

  I have no idea what this means. Please let me know what info is needed to understand this and get connected.
