  I am trying to create a udf for PV function from Excel:

  PV(rate,totalperiod,payment, futurevalue).

  I googled it and the function that I got was payment/(1+ rate)power totalperiod. But the value that I get from this function is not same a Excel PV value. Does any one know the formula for Excel PV?
