Hello,
Iam upgrading sql server 2005 enterprise evaluation edition 64-bit to sql server 2005 enterprise edition 64-bit in an Active/passive cluster environment. The setup giving the following error.
TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Setup
------------------------------
SQL Server Setup has encountered the following problem: [Microsoft][SQL Native Client][SQL Server]Password validation failed. The password does not meet Windows policy requirements because it is too short.. To continue, correct the problem, and then run SQL Server Setup again.
------------------------------
BUTTONS:
&Retry
Cancel
------------------------------
But My login password (10 letters in length)which is used to login to the 2 nodes has uppercase,@,$,and numeric number and lower case letters, which I believe following windows password policy. And I had stop all the services on both nodes.
Please help out from this issue?
thanks
