Server SQL 2005. OS Win2003 SP2.
I am the Admin of the Server.
A detach operation of my default DB (serious mistake I know!) failed half way.
The DB is now in Single User Mode.
I get the following error:
TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
------------------------------
Cannot open user default database. Login failed.
Login failed for user . (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 4064)
I am in a vicious circle, anything I try (e.g. changing the default DB, detach the DB, etc) ends with the message above.
Is there a way to break this vicious circle? For example by completely detaching that database.
Thank you very much.
Thank you very much for your help,
Dinu

Thank you.
I already applied the solutions recommended there but I still am in that vicious circle.
